Columbus Brigade Threatens Treason Over Match Location

Reports indicate that U.S. Soccer may choose a non-Columbus site, likely Salt Lake City, to host the home qualifying match with Mexico on Feb. 11.  Fans in Columbus are not pleased.

Fans left the following messages on Big Soccer message boards, threatening to openly root for Mexico.  One even threatened to place a pipe bomb in U.S.S.F. president Sunil Gulati’s car.

If true I hope the US lose and Bradley gets fired. He’s the worst coach the USSF has ever hired. – MFRONE

Am I being petty if I hope* the U.S. doesn’t win because they (USSF) screwed with the streak (and because I’m bitter I won’t be able to go now)? – west ham sandwich

I never thought I’d see the day I’d be rooting for Mexico, but taking this game out of the one place in the US that the Tri absolutely hate and fear is the most shortsighted decision imaginable. Where can I get a Mexico shirt cheap? … I think this falls to Jack Warner’s toadie Sunil Gulati.
 – Bill Archer

If this goes down, Mr. Gulati better check under his car for a pipe bomb anytime he goes driving somewhere. – DrunkandDisorderly
